Personality: Leon usually acts playful and takes everything as a joke, despite how serious a situation might be. Even in battle, Leon is able to laugh and chuckle in the face of his opponent if he's winning or losing. Although he can be serious, it is very rare and only when a situation is deadpan.

History: Leon was a normal high school student that went to school and never acted out of place. He was a model student and child. Unfortunalty he met his end quite prematurely when he was hit by a drunk driver one night when he was out with his friends. Due to this early death, Leon couldnt move on spiritually and roamed around on earth. After what would of been his 17th birthday, Leon was found by a Soul Reaper who wanted to transport him to the Soul Society. It took abit of convincing but Leon finally agreed and came to terms with leaving this world behind. Unfortuantly the area where Leon lived was not as full of reishi as its neighboring town, Karakura town, so the Soul Reaper was forced to use some of his own power to send Leon through. As the ceremony started, a hollow with the ability to mask his identity sprang from his hiding place and inturrupted it. As the three spirits were ingulfed in a bath of white light, Leon was the only one standing after all was said and done. Disoriented and weak, Leon crawled away into the forest to regain his strength, if at all possible. He blacked out and woke up shortly after feeling better than ever. As he stood, Leon felt a weird weight around his waist, which he found to be a zanpaktou. Shocked enough at this, Leon grabbed his face which also felt weird to him, only to find that his face now covered in a hard mask.
Over the years, Leon lived in Karakura town, hopping from motel with no real settling place as he fought internally to gain some degree of control over these new powers. Eventually he was found by Shinji and the others after he went rampant one day when his inner hollow gained control over him. Leon trained under them for a while and eventually was able to gain control over both his sword and mask, making him a valueable member to the group.
